Demo of ZOLL Defibrilator at Children’s Hospital 1

April 19, 2024 - Medlinks Consulting JSC conducted a demo on how to use the defibrillator at the Emergency Department, Children's Hospital 1, Ho Chi Minh City

Children's Hospital 1 in Ho Chi Minh City is known as the largest specialized pediatric hospital in the southern region. Officially established in 1975, the hospital has now affirmed its position as one of the leading medical centers, especially in the field of children's health care.

On April 19, 2024, Medlinks Consulting JSC conducted a demo of the professional defibrillator ZOLL M2 and the automatic defibrillator ZOLL AED 3 from the brand ZOLL Medlical Corporation at the Emergency Department of Children's Hospital 1.

• ZOLL M2 professional defibrillator: can be used for both adults and children. Uses RECTILINEAR BIPHASIC waves for electric shock, and is equipped with Real CPR Help technology that allows high-quality chest compressions and is used for chest compression training to improve the quality of first aid.
• ZOLL AED 3 automated defibrillator: is a life-saving device used to handle sudden cardiac arrest. The device has a color LCD screen of up to 4.2 inches, and is equipped with a chest compression sensor on the patch, helping to remind first aiders to press harder to be more effective. The electrode pads of the ZOLL AED 3 machine are common for both adults and children, very convenient.

The demo session took place very successfully. The medical staff of the Emergency Department discussed very enthusiastically about knowledge surrounding the topic of cardiogenic shock. Some medical staff have practiced operating smoothly on ZOLL M2 and ZOLL AED 3.
