Demo of AUTO PULSE at Gia Dinh People’s Hospital

June 13, 2023 - Medlinks Consulting JSC conducted a Demo of the AUTO PULSE automatic cardiac compression machine at the ICU department, Gia Dinh People's Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City.

Gia Dinh People's Hospital is one of the Class I General Hospitals under the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City. With a team of highly specialized and experienced doctors and nurses, the Hospital has a full range of major specialties, many in-depth departments, and is fully equipped with medical equipment to enhance the quality of diagnosis, treatment, patient care, and meeting the people's increasing medical examination and treatment needs. With a large scale of 1,500 beds, the hospital serves about 1,500 inpatients daily, more than 4,000 medical examinations and more than 300 emergency patients.

On June 13, 2023, Medlinks Consulting JSC conducted a Demo of the automatic cardiac compression machine AUTO PULSE from ZOLL Medical at the ICU department, Gia Dinh People's Hospital. Before performing operations on the machine, Mr. An (engineer) introduced knowledge related to machine installation characteristics and how to perform chest compressions promptly and accurately.

AUTO PULSE automatic chest compression machine for emergency use for adults over 18 years old, uses pressure distribution belt technology:

• Cardiac compression mechanism: the patient's entire chest compression
• Compression force is adjusted by a weight sensor control system to ensure appropriate compression force for all patients in terms of patient size and chest thickness.
• Used in both in-hospital emergency and out-hospital emergency 

During the demo on the AUTO PULSE automatic cardiac compression machine, doctors, nurses and technicians at the ICU department asked many questions related to machine parameters (compression frequency, modes, compression depth). ), how to operate the machine properly in an emergency, common errors and how to fix them... By asking so many practical questions, the staff of the ICU department almost clearly understood characteristics of AUTO PULSE within about 1 working hour.
